Prologue

Ramblings, Ravings, Musings and Mutterings of a charlatan....

Regarding

The Charlatan. A Writer. A Clown. Sometimes a Barnstormer. Vaudevillian. Pirate. I'm a idealistic cynic, silent writer, trapped traveller... God help me, I'm complusively paradoxical.

Why I find it impossible to keep up regular updating is beyond me.

Some people say you stop blogging when you reach an important stage in your development, no longer needing a blog to record down your thoughts, to share your innermost self with the world.

HA!

You stop blogging because your a lazy bugger.

I don't need to record myself. I don't have a good memory. I can't remember all sorts of shit. For a while I thought this was a bad thing. But then i realized that, it doesnt really matter. I mean, the past is as irrelevant to the future. Everyday, every moment,we constantly reinvent ourselves. We just pretend that we stay the same because we're afraid of losing ourselves. Or some shit like that. But in the end, we just end up trapped in our linnear lives. So short and fleeting.

'Nuff Said.

For the better part of twelve days an eternity, I have left this place to stagnate. ho hum. Exams and general net-prowling have kept me busy. Fortunately, my searches have been rewarded with some pretty awesome shit.

HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONKHONK HONK HONK

I swear I'm going to find a way to make that my new blogskin.

And finally, cause I always save the best for last, I proudly present to you the find of the year, AskaNinja.com

Also, yes, I know Maddox has been around for a while, but you'd be surprised how many people don't know about him. Same for the ninja site (both of them). The first one was pretty underground, but it sparked off one of the greatest debates in the history of the internet.

The age old question... Who would win in a fight, a pirate, or a ninja?

Since that time, netizens have been dividing themselves into the two rival factions. The Great War. There are of course other sides, the robots and the zombie, the Vikings and samurai, the monkeys... And err... Other monkeys.

But the Pirate-Ninja debate is still the greatest.

So what are you, a pirate or a ninja?

Ninjas, masters of stealth and the innumerable killing arts. Silent, deadly, but not much else.

Pirates, the scurvy dogs of the sea, rowdy, greedy and generally drunk, but above all else, free.

Personally, im a pirate... And its not just because of movies like Pirates of the Caribbean. We were pirates looong before that...

I mean, ninjas are cool and all, but what kind of lifestyle is that?! Train for years, kill a few hundred chaps without em knowing and eventually committing suicide when you screw up. Sure, flipping out and killing people sounds cool, but is it really?

On the other hand, pirates just do what they want. You don't need to train, practice or do any of that shit. Plus you can get loot. And rum. Hurray for rum.

In addition, pirates are everywhere. There are space pirates, cyber pirates, CD pirates, time pirates, music pirates. In fantasy and the real world, pirates are an integral part of society.

And finally, above all else, pirates embody freedom. No matter what else, a pirate is someone who is free. Ninjas on the other hand are bound by honor and their silly code of being sneaky bastards. Who the hell would want to live like that.

Plus pirates have cool hats.

AND GUNS.

Not studying enough

Over two days i have done a grand total of 8 hours of work. 4 hours of chem, 2 hours of maths and 2 hours of the bahasa. I occassionally glanced through econs and history notes.

Im so screwed.
