I've had it with blogger. Everyone seems to have moved to Wordpress or something similar.
Plus, I've lost control of my skin and my tag board.
They say that you should finish what you start. But I disagree. Someone once said - Everyone reaps what they sow, except the amateur gardener.
And friends, I'm that gardener!
So...
So.
For the New Year, I make a new blog. As usual. It is a tradition. Only this time, on Wordpress! I'm leaving the old country for the land of opportunity, where the streets are paved with I-pods.
You heard me. I'm moving away. Far far away. To Wordpress.
Look me up at
Omnimorph, if you can be bothered.
Adios Amigos.

During the Holidays, people should blog more. I mean, this will be our second last true school holiday. Right?
Right?
But we're all still slacking around. Stagnating.

Blogger keeps deleting posts.
Annoying, much.

I seem to have stopped blogging. Fortunately, I'm a skilled Netcromancer, which is to say, i reanimate dead forum topics with ease. Since blogs work on the same principles as forums (rants from people with too much time) , I think I can fix this.
Unfortunately, nothing much happens to me during the holidays. I mean, I've been amusing myself watching Robot Chicken on milkandcookies which means that I'VE ALREADY EXHAUSTED YOUTUBE.
Fortunately, while nothing as actually happened to me yet, that can't stop me from pretending that it does. So for the next few weeks I'm going to pretend that interesting things are happening. Starting with a trip to Albuquerque.

Writing, i feel, is a science that should only be practiced in the dead of the night. In that tiny window of time, just before exhaustion takes you. When the world as you know it sleeps, and existence takes on a surreal demeanor - this be the time of dreams and visions, when fantasy and reality being to fuse together in the white-hot furnace of your soul, hammered into shape by your mind.
Tonight feels like a good night for dreaming.

hol·i·day (hŏl'ĭ-dā') pronunciation 1. A day free from work that one may spend at leisure, especially a day on which custom or the law dictates a halting of general business activity to commemorate or celebrate a particular event. 2. A religious feast day; a holy day. 3. Chiefly British. A vacation. Often used in the phrase on holiday.Ha. I laugh. Holidays this year are just as hectic as the school term, what with EE, TOK , IAs and CAS due. Oh Well.. To the
Bat-Cave National Library Robin!
Hmm.. thats not a bad idea actually. Singaporean Libraries are awesome places. I wouldn't be surprised if you see men in tights prancing around surreptitiously... gah.. not making enough.. sense..
In other news, i had the pleasure today of going to school to listen to hordes of Chinese people gloat about the end of CLB in their lives - while the rest of us minorities are have to keep doing it for another year. Laff it up, Laff it up.
Sigh. MT has been a headache for so many of us for so long.. I mean, I'm not saying anything, but I'm to closest you can get to being a cultural bastard. Wait, scratch that --
this dude is the closest you can get to being a cultural bastard.

BLT's latest work is out -
available at various internet places.Countdown it's called, if you didn't know already, which would be surprising, since you were probably involved in its production.
Well,
BLT has forced me to review it on pain of death, since I feel this strange urge to review the movie, i shall.
Since he started in this business, BLT's films have always been improving, in terms of quality. Countdown is no exception, definitely his best work so far. It combines both intriguing storyline and mindless violence, the hallmarks of a truly great hollywood blockbuster. In addition to this, there's a surprising new element - actors who can actually act! Egads! Its a bold new concept, but i daresay it may just take off! But seriously folks -- Kiat, Elsa and Shawn really did a good job in this film. Especially Kiat, who is to the best of my knowledge new to this sort of stuff.
Their talents added to the superb filming that comes from 3-4 good cameramen(with no professional training!), and BLT's obsessive drive for perfection while editing. I heard that some parts of the film were rushed due to time constraints in the filming process, but honestly, I don't really see it. It was well filmed and definitely well-edited. It even has a bit of humor, with various in-jokes scattered here and there. More importantly,it still keeps BLT's trademark SWAT scenes - which are particularly interesting when you consider this would be the last time they would ever be seen - since all the vests have went their separate ways.
The script - another classic BLT vendetta-ish affair had sufficient twists and turns - at least i think it did. A bit hard being objective about something when you are involved in it.
Moving right along now..
All in all, Countdown was a pretty good little short film, uniquely original, since it had all the features of a 120 minute long action-block-buster, except for the actual time, and the million dollar budget.
